A walk on the Bathurst estate

After all the excitement of the last couple of days, culminating in the launch event for the LornaL podcast series, Mr hazelh and I are now taking a few days off work.

First we are staying with Jackie (a friend from our undergraduate days) and her husband Richard in Cirencester. Mr hazelh's parents dropped us off here on their journey south to West Sussex.

We last saw Jackie and Richard in Glasgow just a couple of weeks ago on 1st May. Usually the gaps between sightings are much longer, so we feel very lucky to be able to spend this extra time with them.

The first treat of our trip was a walk around the Bathurst estate. I have blipped one of the paths through the trees.

Earlier in the day Mr and Mrs Cheeseminer kindly showed Mr hazelh's parents (and us) around the Dell House and its wonderful garden.
