Berry cheesecake at an unexpected dinner party

Like us, our friends Liz and Tony - normally based in North Berwick - are also on holiday in the Cotswolds. When we met them in Cirencester this morning it became obvious that an hour over coffee was insufficient for a proper catch-up, so Jackie invited them for dinner. Tonight six of us sat down to a delicious meal of spiced roast chicken with sweet potatoes followed by berry cheesecake (blipped).

We slotted in another social event between the two meetings with Liz and Tony. Jackie's friend Sophie came over for tea and scones (made by me). Sophie is a gardener so she was very interested in our pandemic garden makeover and enjoyed looking at many of the photographs that we took over the course of the project.

Tomorrow we are visiting an RSPB reserve and going swimming in an open air pool.
