Glaucous Gull

A short cycle along the shore of Kirkwall Bay produced this gull which is probably en route for the Arctic, where it breeds. I was checking a spot where Arctic skua breed (in sopite of the name) and found one bird there so will observe from a distance. The extra is a ringed plover.
