Wound up in Wexford

Evening light

An all round good day.

We started with a walk down towards the waterfront in Leith, where we had been recommended the Roseleaf cafe for a good brunch.  We got there a little early, so walked on to find an early coffee whilst waiting for The Roseleaf to open.  Wonderful sun, but a very chilly wind.

After an excellent brunch, we contacted Mr A and arranged to drop off the plants (carried up 4 flights of steps to their flat, as the lift is (and has been for over a year) out of commission)  and alcohol (two large boxes carried up one flight of stairs at their lock up facility) - satisfactorily completing one of the main tasks of this trip.

Then a relaxing afternoon back at our AirBnb - W had a nap, before beer (or on my case cider) at the Campervan Brewery tap, and then an early dinner at Leith Vaults, courtesy of ArcLight, who is a member.

Finally back to their flat, where it was our duty to help them finish a bottle of wine opened last night.  Couldn't resist this view from their balcony of the rather lovely late evening light.

We've left them to pack - they have a very early start in the morning.  We will have a more leisurely start, pack up and are planning to spend a few hours at The Botanic Gardens tomorrow.
