Strawberry flower

We have had a really good short break on the south coast. We relaxed, walked, and enjoyed a wedding anniversary. But today, as it was glorious sunshine and warmer than it had been during the previous days, it was obviously the time to head home.

J’s sister lives not far from the motorway we take en-route, and a bit over half way, so a stop for lunch worked very well. And really good to see her in the flesh, rather than the weekly video call. BiL was back in the office in town so we missed him, but the two dogs were home. The strawberry flower was in the greenhouse, the hoverfly positioned itself conveniently on it for the shot. It’s a very impressive greenhouse - I have greenhouse envy (extra).
