Lost luggage

Our flight to Schipol was slightly late making our already short connection very tight. We need not have worried we sat on our connecting flight for about an hour and a half before ti even moved from the stand.

The computer controlling the luggage obviously decided we were not going to make it and did not bother to forward our luggage to the plane. We discovered we were one of several people on our flight arriving with no luggage.

I had already booked dinner at the restaurant on the left of this picture. We were going to be late so we decided we should take a water taxi to the hotel which is also on the left of the picture. Thanks to the water taxi we got back on schedule and arrived in plenty of time for dinner.
