The Classic View

The classic view that can only be Venice. I realised I had left my reading glasses in Aberdeen, so we headed out to find a chemist in the morning. Meanwhile the hotel was chasing up the lost luggage.

When we returned to the hotel about lunch time they told us the luggage had arrived at the airport and would be delivered in the afternoon. We decided we would take a vaporetto over to Murano for the afternoon. When we got back late afternoon the luggage had arrived.

Restaurants in Venice are very busy, so we book our evening meal either a day or so prior, or during the day. today we have booked at a pizzeria on Zattere. We are on a pontoon in Giudecca. It turned out to be a little draughty as there was quite a breeze this evening. Perhaps we will not have dinner in Zattere again this visit.
