Clematis

We came back from our week in Scotland to the pleasant discovery of clematis in full bloom, covering the fence erected in early spring last year. 
The last jazz workshop until September this morning. The workshop has not yet returned to the attendance numbers pre-Covid, which has put a strain on finances. There are a number of reasons for this - some members died during the pandemic; some have found it hard to maintain the habit of playing; attendance has not been as regular as previously (partly due to Covid); there has not been the normal intake of new members. The impact of Covid remains with us in many ways.
Car washing and gardening this afternoon, as I slowly return to my usual routines.
