Garden Fungi

In the corner of our garden where some old tree stumps are rotting with bags of rotting leaves etc, I noticed these fungi growing on one of the tree stumps, perhaps a further indication of how wet it has been.
A mixed day, taking Stanley to the vets to make sure there are no problems after his operation and then to enjoy a coffee and long conversation with Wendy in her garden. It is always enjoyable and enlightening to talk with Wendy and the time flew by. 
I am not one for any kind of retail and have seen the closure of shops as a benefit of Covid, but this afternoon I had to venture out to buy some new sheets before the grandchildren come next week. Time consuming and frustrating trying to match colours with sizes. I had to settle for colours that were not even third choice.
