Blue Sky and gardening

Took the blue sky photo this morning while taking Jonty for a little walk, it was about 8am. He doesn't like walking nowadays but he likes to go out for about 15-20 minutes, sniff around the park, maybe do 'something' and then head for home.
The rest of the day was spent doing a bit of shopping for plants and then, of course, planting them. Haven't yet finished but had enough for today.
Some Aubretia plants put into the back garden so it will grow over the little wall and, hopefully, give a lovely blue splash when it gets established in a year or two. Also in the back there is now an Alstremeria which has a beautiful flower, I think ours is Beach Valley.
The bottom photograph is the vegetable garden, where most of todays work was carried out.
At the back you can see a Rhubarb plant (Champagne) which was moved last year when we put the plastic greenhouse up. It recovered well and is thriving. Next to it is some Blueberry plants, not done much over the past 2 or 3 years, hoping they'll try harder this year.
In front of them, with the thin sticks, are some home grown tomato plants. We've more but not enough room.
You can't really see it but in front of the tomatoes the potato vegetation is popping it's head above the soil. And then there is a bit of a gap where we are going to sow Spring Onions, lots of them.
Today I also put up one 'wigwam' of canes for 3 French Bean plants, one vegetable that we all like. Just behind the canes is a single Blackcurrant which we bought, and planted, today. A couple of odd Strawberry plants in front of that.
I'm not what you'd call a keen gardner but it is lovely to see stuff growing, and then be able to eat it too.
