Cut Down

Here is just about the end of the downed pine tree series. What we see here is the poor hawthorn thinned to half its fullness. Over time it may recover.Lying on the grass on the back is the major part of the pine tree trunk. There is another section of the large branch that was removed lying nearby.
I am simply keeping these for the record. There was much damage to trees from that heavy, later snow storm.  A full size, fully developed tree across the street from my house completely died. It is easily 40 feet tall.
It grows near the little house and could be a danger in a wind storm.
Ah, trees!!
