Leamington lift bridge

On the Union Canal. Was restored to operation in 2002. 

Went out to get a weekend newspaper, walked around by the end of the canal to get coffee from the boat which is moored by the bridge. There are seats and tables opposite it on the bank, in a place sheltered from the wind in full morning sun.  Also in the picture is the end of Leamington Road, including the first flat I owned. The blinds on the front windows haven't been opened in the several weeks since we got here .. 

Picked up bread and pate from the farmers market later on. Less windy than it's been.
