All packed up, a last morning walk along the beach and paddle in the sea before the long drive down the A1. At Scotch Corner I stopped for a break and a double espresso to keep myself sharp. That certainly worked- I was still wired as midnight approached, van unpacked, first wash load on…. What a fantastic break and time in the wilderness - I love the contrast coming back to my garden in lush bloom.
