Short back and sides!
No2 son popped over to chop 3 feet off my weeping pear. Now a cylinder instead of a dome. I can keep the sides trimmed without having to ask him to deal with the top. This was a sapling 24 years ago and was planted to hide the shed. Shed now demolished but still waiting for the replacement.
Managed to chop up some of the debris and put in the green bin. I have piled the remainder on the shed hard standing to be dealt with another day, when I have enough green bin space.
Managed to dry some washing outside before he arrived and I am now thinking how I can make a pork chop tasty for my dinner tonight.
