Family

Our church is weird, colourful, varied, noisy, messy, complicated,.... but it's family in the richest sense of the word and Katie was thrilled to be back today. She went for a walk with Steph beforehand, via Costa. She sat with her friends in the service, helped with jobs in the centre after it, walked home with Steph again after. She was full of beans. 

We had lunch together and she did practice before she went to Bs. They had a great outing, going bowling and then out for tea - fish and chips, though Katie had sausages, and ice cream pudding. 

Katie came home and we snuggled on the sofa, a quite tired little Katie, introducing her to Grayson Perry's Art Club. I was really excited and thought she'd love it. She found it quite confusing and didn't really like it. She went in the shower. Then I finally caved to cutting her hair as she's been begging for weeks. Photo in the extra... she looks both super cute and very grown up all at once.
