Reunions

About half an hour into our journey last night, Katie announced she had a very important question... "when am I seeing B? And don't say tomorrow afternoon, that's too long". B was keen to oblige and we managed to get her there before "afternoon"  with about 5 minutes to spare!

The morning had started quite early, she appeared in my bed at 5.30. She snuggled in my arms for about an hour before we were up for the day. Bacon and egg breakfast, zoom ballet, bassooning and then a lovely hour with friends from church... It was a morning well spent, but it was all with an undercurrent of overtired Katie. 

She was a grumpy bum generally for most of the afternoon. I had some work jobs to do, but we had a movie, a roast dinner and snuggles still. However, she opted to put herself to bed early. Very happy to be home, very grumpy generally!
