Past Its Best
We were back to the wedding venue to undo all the work put in on Friday, finding early birds had made good progress and with less to do were able to leave with whatever we had loaned.
Heading for Reepham we came across the Whitwell and Reepham Railway, a heritage line with a very handy cafe. We enjoyed a light lunch and browsed the rolling stock in varying degrees of restoration - this carriage in the 'needy' category! My first submission to the Derelict Sunday challenge, thanks to Marieske for hosting.
We continued to Reepham to the Food Festival, limiting our purchases to necessary bread and cider, among the gins and more baking, then home to rest before a relaxed early dinner with the family and friends, with their young children (coincidentally at the place we first met A with R a few years ago).
