At last

 Kristin has appeared in this journal a number of times. She's the former park ranger who runs a non-profit that takes city kids into parklands with mentors who teach them about nature, kayaks, and camping. Today is her birthday, and it's a special one. Ten days ago she was reunited with her husband, from whom she has been separated for two years through no choice on their parts. She celebrated with all their friends (outside in their back yard, masks optional--despite sporadic rain and a very chilly afternoon). I was happy to be chosen their photographer.
