Did the earth move for you .....

Lots of activity next door today with heavy plant JCBs levelling the plot for the builders to start next week.  After a busy morning I thought I’d have a few minutes on the sofa with a cuppa to relax, then there was a bang and the house shook;  OMG I thought the JCB had bumped into our house, but have since found out from #1 daughter, who lives very near, the internet and now the local news that Shropshire and particularly our town sustained 4 earth tremors  today, the one I felt at 4.30pm shook the house, the sofa moved and the china wobbled in the dresser, this was the strongest tremor and registered a moderate mag. 3.8.  So glad to know it was an earth tremor and not something more sinister.
