Even with teeth missing, a grazed face and an absolute disaster of a birthday cake in front of her, Sienna is still showing just how great it is to be six!

The irony after mentioning the expected early start on last night's blip was that I had to wake her at 8.30 this morning! We delighted in watching her receive her violin and have endured a day of listening to the screetching and scratching as she attempts to play it. She has admitted that she just might need a lesson or two!

Other than that it was ballet, acro and swimming a favourite meal (risotto) and a cake that had a typo in the recipe that saw us put in far too little flour. Luckily we get to do the whole cake thing again tomorrow when she has her friends over for her birthday party!
