FaceTime with daddy

HELLISH DAY

We left this morning after our little stay at lifeofh's house after a hearty breakfast of pancakes, a little play with the girls and a cuppa, I thought I was being sensible leaving at nap time and so we set off at 10.30. He slept beautifully in the car, a really nice long nap.....and that's when we hit the M4. No previous warning, but the sodding M4 was CLOSED. AAAAARGH! If they had said before I hit the M25 I honestly would have gone to vidit the inlaws for a night or two, I hate traffic jams. We were 5 mins away from the services and it took AN HOUR to get to the junction, which they then closed! At this point I was passing back bits of flapjack and trying to give him a drink of water out of his beaker - and I could smell his bum! We finally got off the sodding M4 and I pulled over in a business park for a bum change, a cuddle and some boob.

Of course, it was saturday and the business park security drove past to see what we were up to. Thankfully a nice security guard was understanding and even offered to help in any way - cute. So, we followed the diversion for two whole hours. It was a nightmare. We stopped again at a services and got out of the car for a while and sat on the grass with a picnic. He had fun watching the birds, playing with my keys and running his hands across the grass.

When we got home my mother and my niece came over to help out seeing as I was knackered from 6.5 hours in the car! Seren is 6 and loves her little cousin and entertained him while I unloaded the car. We all sat down for tea which consitsted of a jacket potato, philly and some salad when daddy rang to speak to the boy! I had to pass the phone to my mother to get this shot, it shows just how much Noah adores his daddy. Look at that smile! I'm so glad that Oli is the kind of father that doesnt mind playing peepo on the phone to his son :)

Horrible day ended well, we had loads of fun in the bath! He's also slept amazingly all evening - surely it's because he knows I'm home alone and thus he can't be missing out on anything. Stinker!!!
