Wonderful….

up here today, rushing burn, Curlew, Skylarks, Wheatears, Lapwings and Oystercatchers all calling, and inevitably three Cuckoos. There were several Blue Mountain hares, so put one in the extra. They seemed to be travelling round and feeding young.
In the woodland there were Crossbills and Linnets.
In sunshine too, all delightful!
