Low cloud….

slowly burned off as I started to walk, firstly, through bleating lambs and ewes, then into the Curlew nesting area, then Skylarks and finally the Lapwings, all of whom called , before reaching the loch. Here, the sun was fully out and it was hot. Little Grebes fed their young, there were Sandpipers, Goldeneye, Mallard, all with young and Blackheaded gulls squabbling over food and nests.
