A walk over Rannerdale.

Our friends T & J are up in the lakes this week with their two boys, N & O. We took a walk from their holiday let, to Rannerdale, up the valley and up to the top of Rannerdale Knotts, then retraced our steps. 6 1/2 miles in total, their 5 year old walked the lot (without a word of complaint) Their 2 year old walked about half of it - seriously impressive. Main pic is walking up the Rannerdale valley, extra of the young 'un finding out how deep the water is in a rut (we were nearly home by then, so "Mum" wasn't worried about him getting wet feet).

A fabulous day out with friends who feel more like family.
