What a contrast in architectural styles - seen in Ponsonby, Auckland.

Since its construction in 1893, Allendale House (on the left, obviously) has served as a private hospital, boarding house, doctor's surgery, hostel and restaurant. Now occupied by the ASB Community Trust, an independent grant-making organisation supporting the work of not-for-profit groups in Auckland and Northland.
