We have come to the end of an era today -signing out of our rented apartment in Gulf Harbour. After a fantastic summer up here in the north, we are returning to Christchurch to get ready for our next big adventure (details to come), leaving in May and returning at the end of June. On our way to the airport for our flight home this afternoon we had some spare time so went for a drive out to Musick Point - what a superb little peninsula and a neat and tidy golf course. Views across the channel to Rangitoto and Browns Island. Expensive property values though around Bucklands Beach and Howick.

We will be back to the Whangaparaoa Peninsula in July, with some fresh ideas about how to find somewhere to live - we may end up on a boat in the marina! Watch this space.
