Destiny

A very good night’s sleep.
Took three bags of clothes and soft furnishings to the charity shop yesterday and today after my quick walk  l sorted through tops and t-shirts :  sixteen now in a bin liner ready to drop off after this long bank holiday.
Then off to YorkGate to do the Meet and Greet.
A busy afternoon after what had been a sold out morning.
Mixed weather between sun, rain and cloud.
Thankful most of the rain came as l was finishing my shift at 4.00pm when l had a quick look around the gardens.
In pride of place at the entrance was the Semponium Destiny which was the Plant of the Year at the Chelsea Flower Show last week.
A cross between a hardy semperivium and an aeonium. They are drought tolerant and need to be brought into shelter over winter.
Lots of others in all sorts of sizes in other gardens as l looked round, they only came out of the greenhouse a couple of weeks ago.
Quick dash to the supermarket on the way home as l’m not sure what is opened or closed over the next four days.
