Wednesday: Church Island & Britannia Bridge

Lots of rain overnight but it disappeared by morning.
MrD on deliveries, he had a long day.
I drove to Menai Bridge to meet up with the Tuesday Gang (now meeting on Wednesday!).
Chaos in Menai Bridge, traffic lights on suspension bridge whilst they are doing surveys and lots of holiday traffic…
I parked up in my usual spot and walked down through the woods and around Church Island.
Loved all the wild flowers growing everywhere - they’ve started cutting it back on the other side of the island.
The reflections on the still water took my breath away …

Quick photo of Britannia Bridge, then I realised I was late so rushed back up the hill for our Chinese lunch. Lively conversation …
Onward to Co-op where I bumped into a gardening friend from many years ago, she told me there’s no produce tent at Anglesey Show this year :-((
Also chatted with my colleague from Highways Department days - he’s been studying the information I’d found for him and will see what his sister makes of it!
