Wound up in Wexford

We've had a sociable day.

First we met friends (ex-colleagues of mine) at a farm shop/restaurant for an early lunch.  A lovely catch up.

When we said we were going up to Perth for our evening meal, they suggested Dunkeld (or more specifically The Hermitage) as a place to enjoy a nice woodland/waterfall walk.

The weather was showery, but we parked in The Hermitage car park, and managed to walk up beside the River Braan as far as Ossian's  Cave and back in the dry.

A lovely walk, with another waterfall, a rather picturesque bridge (see extras), and some great trees and stumps.  An excellent suggestion, thanks J and J.

On our return to the car, we got a rather upsetting email from Ireland, so we were glad we were again able to enjoy good company in the evening.  We spent a lovely evening with my cousin F and her husband (third extra) - gin, veggie lasagne, strawberries and cream - yummy.
