Jubilee Bells

My concession to the Jubilee celebrations today has been a garden cream tea with family and then some participation in the Brixton (South Devon) village community celebrations. This involved a village trail for children to find the corgies in the windows and bell ringing at the church. I always quite enjoy hearing church bells, though not everyone shares this view. As well as hearing them outside, it was interesting that in the church the bellringers can be seen in a gallery above where the congregation sit. The bright sunshine outside made it difficult to get a good photo though. No doubt all the people who have arranged or participated in outside celebrations today will have been pleased with the fine weather.
