Picnic

Yesterday's positive forecast was looking likely to come to fruition so sandwiches were made and we headed south to South Uist - always referred to locally as .going up to South Uist'.
This is where the Howmore river reaches the sea and is generally a photogenic spot. The trip there and back took in a variety of birding spots althugh they were generally bereft of birds.
