Our futures

Quick trip through the newly reopened Arts & Industries building, which is housing a building wide exhibit on what our future holds for us.

I needed to get out of my own head and to start thinking beyond the event of this weekend…

The exhibit pictured in my blip asked people to provide a one-word response to finish this sentence: my future is …. There was a middle school group visiting from Illinois and i overheard three girls i was standing next to answer as follows: ‘non-existent’, ‘sad’, ‘bleak.’ I found that profoundly depressing.
