Her Maj and the guardsman

Had to be done! Local crafters have been busy, and this amazing creation appeared on top of the post-box last week.

Jacqui's back from her adventures across the Border, and she and Fletch came for coffee this morning. MrM disappeared in to the workshop after lunch, and I started on the mammoth task of sorting out the paperwork stored in the two big cupboards in the spare room. Trouble is, much of it needs to be read before deciding whether it should be kept, shredded, or put in to the recycling bin. There's something very satisfying about disposing of unnecessary paperwork though!
