Alien invasion
A forecast for glorious weather, so MrM and I decided to give the Jubilee Party in the Park a miss, and head off for a walk.
MrM drove us over to Teesdale by the longest possible scenic route. We walked by Cow Green Revervoir to the dam, and then scrambled down the rocky path beside Cauldron Snout, an impressive waterfall (extra, but unfortunately none of my photos do it justice), and continued walking by the river for a while before turning back. A very enjoyable walk and we hardly saw a soul, very different from the last time we were there.
On the way back stopped for a 'van tea' (sausages and beans followed by posh donuts) high up on the moors near Nenthead, watching the start of the alien invasion as we ate!
