Surprise visitor!

Now we know where Her Maj was today when she didn’t turn up at her own Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving in St Paul’s! She was at our local church with a small gathering of folk with bunting, trestle tables and cakes in the cool breeze.

No gym today again, with the good excuse of the Jubilee service. 

Cool and windy this morning, but the predicted sunshine did manage to appear in the afternoon. We all took a walk down to the new cafe - Archie was quite keen to go in because he got a biscuit there as he passed last week. Mind you, once he was in he was keen to get out again.

I have caught up on several episodes of Better Call Saul (henceforth referred to as BCS). JR took Archie out so that’s always at least one episode (JR has given up on it). I’m now at Series 4 (the new series is 6). It’s such great writing, you’re really invested in the characters.

I had a call back from Apple support set for 6pm, so I borrowed Hazel’s laptop. Did Apple call back at 6pm? NO! They’re usually pretty good their callbacks. Hopefully he’ll try again tomorrow.

The road trip is all organised. I have not yet got over the shock of accommodation costs in remote places! There is a Premier Inn in Thurso, and the prices are nearly the same as London!! How can that be? (Don’t answer that - I know how…)
