BEACH AND BEACON

I had 2 tutor sessions then we hotfooted down to Brighton for a few hours….fish and chips in the sunshine, time to relax with a glass of wine and an ice cream. Oksana teaches English and for years has told her students about English Fish and Chips so she was eager to eat some.
By the time we got back we only had an hour before we were back out to the town hall as we’d had a special invite with our Ukrainian family to attend the Mayor’s ceremony and watch the lighting of the beacon. We were soooo tired when we got home but managed a supper and a bit of BGT…far too late for bed though.
