Sunny day

I realised rather belatedly that the bank holiday was on Thursday and Friday, not Monday and Tuesday as would normally be expected, so I've not been very organised about it, but the start of four days with no appointments or activities scheduled felt like a treat, a little space after a busy few weeks. Thursday was a beautiful day, warm and sunny, and J and I spent part of it on the deck potting some of her sunflowers into their large tubs. They had a slow start, with initially poor germination, but we now have some healthy plants and hope for good flowers in a few weeks.
