Belted Galloway

An early morning visit to Bickerton Hill to try to find the cuckoos. Plenty of cuckooing, but no cuckoos sighted. However, a small mixed herd of bullocks were grazing at the top....much easier to spot than the cuckoos. I've only seen Belted Galloways in Cumbria and Scotland, so nice to see they're making their way south.
