Field work

Jesusmaryjosephandtheholydonkey! It absolutely lashed! However a very jolly group of around 15 thought it a sensible way to spend an exceptionally damp June Bank holiday Saturday afternoon listening to me waft on about holy wells and then actually visit (a rather lovely)one. I reckon we might all have got pneumonia now! There was even a dog, Ruffles - I don't think he was that impressed. Yes that is a cow pat in the water. Fortunately not the main holy well but the runoff where you were allowed to wash in it but not shit in it. I think this might qualify for Silly Saturday!
