The first unfurling

A trip across the mountain to get the hair sorted and that seems to have been that!  There's a wedding going on in the Tin Pub down the road - interesting choice of music, quite early stuff and then You Can't Always Get What you Want by the Stones - surely not that appropriate for a wedding?! 

The sunflowers that survived the initial slug onslaught are starting to open - I love them.

You may not hear from me tomorrow as I'm off to East Cork to lead a field trip to a holy well - this one. The ash tree will be out and it should be looking good. I've no idea how many people are coming but hopefully it won't rain!
