Do not feed the animals please

Today we pretended we were old people and went to a garden centre for lunch.

Why do people want an ornament of a dog in their gradens? Or a cartoon owl that's eyes are solar powered? Or a candle that smells like fabric conditioner (that was the nicest one). Or a flock covered poodle statue. Or a candle with a lampshade. Or a display of farmyard animals?
