Jubilee Day 4
Another day of lovely weather and out and about enjoying the celebrations. Here’s Cockenzie House looking resplendent, along with a knitted queen in the extras.
We watched the Platinum Party at the Palace last night, and especially enjoyed Diversity, George Ezra, Diana Ross, as well as the theatre shows. I do wonder what the royals thought of watching ‘Six’ … divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, survived. Loved the drone images above Buckingham Palace, especially, the corgi and handbag. Paddington having tea with the Queen was so much fun too.
Now sat down with a cuppa and a scone, getting ready to watch the Royal Pageant.
It’s back to normal life tomorrow, but I have hugely enjoyed the last 4 days, and have never smiled so much. Maybe, because coming out of the pandemic it has given us the opportunity to get together and have community spirit.
I have done the Silver, Golden, Diamond, and now, the Platinum Jubilees.
I hope you have smiled over the last few days, whether you like the royals or not. It’s always easier to smile and not frown, be bitter or crabby!
