Tobacco Road
This morning was the annual Farnham Festival of Transport. Despite the grey weather there was a good turn out of cars and people. There was a bit of everything - the old, the new, the rusted and the absolutely pristine. There was one engine that was so clean it was hard to believe the car had even been driven to the venue.
As we went around I kept changing my mind as to which car I fancied but in the end I fell in love with a dark blue Koenigsegg (centre photograph). It was truly incredible.
The best bit of the festival was actually the music that was being played over the loudspeakers (I am much more interested in music than cars). Someone had made a great selection of sixties tracks. And the very best bit of the festival was watching an elderly couple walking hand in hand, both a bit doddery, but both of them stomping in time to the music - The Nashville Teens' Tobacco Road. Sublime.
