Another glorious day…

walking from the garden, through the back gate across the paddock into the wood, where the Snipe was drumming and a family of Longtailed tits were learning how to bathe in the burn. Put one in the extra. Then in the pine wood there were Jays, Large Red damselflies, Roe deer. In the shinty field there were Mistle thrushes and Fieldfares. The verges along the Castle drive were deep with lush grasses and Bugle and perfumed with Lime fragrance from the blossom on the trees lining the avenue. The view is from the drive.
