Orion
We drove to Cincinnati to visit Kings Island after HoliWood Nights. I did a lot of driving for this trip, but it was worth it. Orion opened in 2020 and is the tallest coaster at Kings Island. It's 287 feet (87 meters), has a 300-foot (91-meter) drop and goes 91 mph (146 kph).
We rode in the front seat at first. It's really fun. It has a lot of speed, and every hill has nice forces, positive or negative. We ate lunch and got in line again. It broke down, but we waited. After about 20 minutes, we got to ride in the back seat. I really liked it.
We rode a few more things, including Racer, which got major track work done last year, and The Beast, which got track work done this year. Both are fun, though The Beast feels like a meandering train ride after riding Voyage.
In extras: Orion's layout, Diamondback at the end of the ride, The Beast at the top of the lift.
