On the edge (Day 2588)

The plan for the morning was to do a couple of outside taps, and visit a customer who was wanting an estimate for an outside tap.
The first one should have been really easy, but turned into a nightmare when a pipe connection below the base of the cupboard under the kitchen sink blew off. It took me a while to locate the stop cock outside, but not as long as mopping up the water took. The house is a fairly new one, and a pipe hadn't been pushed all the way into a fitting. My work in the cupboard was disturbance enough for the joint to fail and flood the kitchen.
Thankfully the customer was very understanding and knew it wasn't my fault.
The next outside tap was more of a struggle than it should have been too, but thankfully there were no massive leaks.
I gave up for the day mid afternoon and headed home to meet up with my beautiful wife and head for the horses. A bit of time spent with HV and George always helps clear away the stresses of the day. Especially when, like today, George has a bit of a spark about him.
