Watercolour

This morning I met with two of my friends for a sketching session at Frensham Big Pond. We found a bench with good views over the pond but unfortunately it began to drizzle almost as soon as we arrived. We gamely carried on for a while (I moved under a tree) but after about three quarters of an hour we all decided to throw in the towel (the one we didn't have), as the rain was making our paper too wet. It was a short drive to the Frensham Garden Centre where we admired the plant displays (extra) and warmed up with a cup of something hot. Most annoyingly when we drove the couple of miles back to Farnham it was apparent there had been no rain at all there. British Summers!
