Upholstery this morning- spent 3 hours filling endless tack holes with wood glue and sawdust mix- strangely absorbing but not photogenic! Pleased that bit is finished though! Came home via Lidl ready for the carpet fitters. Gardener also turned up and finished taking all the rubbish out of the borders and digging in soil improver. . Cleaned the French windows and put a coat of paint on the wall lights. Carpet fitters x 4 arrived - a bit excessive for just one room! Finished off by popping up to the Avenue for some food shopping. It was a lovely warm sunny day for a change but I spent most of it inside. Felt like I got quite a lot done though so that was good
