Walk on the wild side

I've hardly done any wildlife photography this year, which is very unusual for me. So, in an attempt to get my mojo back, I persuaded Mr DA to pop along to Benbow Pond this morning (following breakfast at the Cowdray café) to see what was about. There were various black swans, including a very-large-now cygnet, Egyptian geese and goslings, mallards (see Extras), and jackdaws. We had a tip-off from a man who drove past that there have been barn owls around just up from the pond, so we'll definitely be back to see if we can catch sight of them.
