Looking good....
....from this angle.
A complete lack of photos today until I walked across the back field and found this guy checking out the stickability of his shades.
He was actually having a lesson in stunt riding. You can see this docile horse in action, with a different rider performing the same stunt at speed here
On a completely different note, today:
I watched The London Marathon. The theme music for the marathon is The Main Theme from the film 'The Trap' (1966) staring Oliver Reed as La Bete - a fur trapper and Rita Tushingham as a mute orphan girl whom he buys to be his wife.
When watching the film the music, that seems to match the spirit of the marathon so well, takes on a totally different haunting feeling, that lingers.
At one point the trapper sings the following words to the music:
When I'm a man, I'll take me a wife.
We'll live in a house on the hill, the hill.
With carriage and horses all white, all white.
And she'll have diamonds and pearls, and pearls.
And she will have diamonds and? pearls.
Well worth watching it is available on You Tube
Many thanks for all your comments on yesterday's blip. The little chap has made some progress but his life still hangs in the balance.
